WoW Cooking Leveling Guide

This WoW Cooking Leveling Guide will show you the fastest
way to level your cooking skill from 1 to 450. I recommend
everyone level their cooking to 450 as it allows you to make
food that is extremely helpful to you and your groups. You
should pick up cooking as soon as you possibly can while
leveling your character (there are usually cooking trainer in
every inn). The benefits include additional stamina
(health) and spirit (health and mana regeneration). At
later levels the recipes you create will also provide
spellpower, attack power and strength among other things.
This WoW cooking leveling guide uses a lot of vendor bought
recipes... so be prepared to travel a lot because you have to
buy cooking recipes and farm meats, eggs, etc. while you are
leveling this profession.
Blizzard recently did away with the use of spices in
cooking, so you won't have to worry about picking those up
anymore. I think this is great, as it saves you money in
the long run.

The first thing you'll need to do while using this WoW
Cooking leveling guide is to visit any trainer in the main cities of old
Azeroth and train Apprentice Cooking- just ask a guard
where the Cooking Trainer is, head over to them and learn
Apprentice Cooking. Trainers can also be found in just
about every Inn in the game if you aren't near a major
city.
1-80
If you're Horde and plan on questing around Silvermoon City
and The Ghostlands, I would recommend picking up the
[Recipe: Lynx Steak] from Landraelanis in Eversong Woods. You'll be
getting plenty of [Lynx Meat] while questing around out
there.
80 - 225
-
80 - 130 - Go to Ashenvale, and head to the Zoram
Strand, where the sea is (north-west area of the
map). Kill the Naga and other creatures on the
beaches to collect clams which will contain clam meat.
[Boiled Clams] - 1 [Clam Meat] , 1 Refreshing Spring
Water - Clam Meat can be found in [Small Barnacled Clam]
[Crab Cake] - 1 Crawler Meat
Alliance: Alliance players can buy the recipe for
Cooked Crab Claw, because the Crawlers you will kill
drop [Crawler Claw] as well. Don't sell
the Crawler Claw!
[Cooked Crab Claw] - 1 Crawler
Claw
- 130 - 175 - The Raptors in Stranglethorn Vale, The
Wetlands and Arathi Highlands will drop [Raptor Flesh] and [Raptor Eggs] so don't sell or destroy
the Raptor Flesh, because you will need those in the
next step of the Cooking guide. In the meantime, collect
50 Raptor Eggs so make: 50 x [Curiously Tasty Omelet] - 50 [Raptor Egg], 50 Hot Spices
