Jewelcrafting Leveling Guide

Jewelcrafting, which was introduced with The Burning Crusade expansion is a really great profession. It allows the player to create rings, necklaces and to cut stones for socketing items, among other handy things. My intention in Jewelcrafting Leveling Guide is to help you get started as quickly (and cheaply) as possible.

The best profession to have along with Jewelcrafting would be Mining. If you're looking to level up your mining as quickly as possible, feel free to check out my WoW Mining Guide 1-450.

Creating rings and necklaces to sell on the Auction House is a great way to make money with Jewelcrafting at early levels (and even later on).  As you skill up you'll begin cutting gems for players to socket their gear (another great way to make money on the Auction House).

The fist thing you'll need to do in my Jewelcrafting Leveling Guide is train to become a Jewelcrafter.  Visit one of these trainers and learn Apprentice Jewelcrafting.

1-50

• 1-30 - 30 x [Delicate Copper Wire] - 60 Copper Bar. Save these, you'll need them later (beginning in the next step.
• 30-50 - 20 x [Tigerseye Band] - 20 Tigerseye, 20 Delicate Copper Wire. You can make 20 x [Malachite Pendant] instead if you have the materials.

50-150

Train Journeyman Jewelcrafting.

• 50-80 - 50 x [Bronze Setting] - 100 Bronze Bar. Save these, as you will be using them later.
• 80-100 - 20 x [Simple Pearl Ring] - 20 Small Lustrous Pearl, 20 Bronze Setting, 40 Copper Bar or 20 x [Gloom Band] - 20 Bronze Setting, 40 Shadowgem, 40 Delicate Copper Wire
• Make [Ring of Silver Might] if Silver Bars are cheap on your server.
• 100-110 - 10 x [Ring of Twilight Shadows] - 20 Shadowgem, 20 Bronze Bar
• 110-120 - 10 x [Heavy Stone Statue] - 80 Heavy Stone
• 120-150 - 30 x [Pendant of the Agate Shield] - 30 Moss Gate, 30 Bronze Settings. You will need to buy the pattern from one of these NPCs.  

150-200

Learn Expert Jewelcrafting

• 150-180 - 65 x [Mithril Filigree] - 130 Mithril Bar.
• 180-200 - 20 x [Engraved Truesilver Ring] - 20 Truesilver Bar, 50 Mithril Filigree
