Disenchanting is used by Enchanters in World of Warcraft to create the elements from weapons and armor to later use in enchanting an item. Dusts and Essences Note that there are some items at the 57-60 item range, which are not from the the Burning Crusade expansion, so those items won't give you Arcane Dust nor Lesser Planar Essence.
